To say the past few years have been challenging for college graduates would be an extraordinary understatement. Through this economic recession, recent graduates had the toughest time trying to find employment. With employment rates hitting an all-time high, companies were simply not able to hire new employees. With the United States economy seemingly getting back on track, jobs are opening up for new graduates, but the amount being paid has changed. According to The New York Times Education entry, “More Jobs, but Smaller Salaries, for New Graduates”, starting salaries industry-wide have dropped 1.7% from last year, to $47,673.
