Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) recently announced the use of three new metrics when reviewing compensation packages.  The Relative Degree of Alignment metric measures a company's percentile rank of CEO pay and Total Shareholder Return (TSR) performance versus an industry-and-size appropriate peer group.  The Multiple of Median metric will show the CEO's pay as a multiple of that same peer group.  Additionally, ISS will compare CEO pay and absolute TSR over a five-year period.
