Compensation Resources, Inc. Releases Its 2009 Executive Compensation Survey of Privately-Held Companies

Upper Saddle River, N.J. – October 13, 2009 - Compensation Resources, Inc. (CRI) has released the results of their inaugural Executive Compensation Survey of Privately-Held Companies Survey. The purpose of this study was to obtain compensation data of 12 key executive positions from small to mid-sized privately-held companies. Data was collected between May and July and results were compiled from survey questions that were developed by Compensation Resources, Inc. and distributed to companies in all industrial classifications. There were 56 organizations that participated in this study.
This survey was designed specifically for privately-held companies with revenues below $1 billion, to provide more targeted compensation data for corporate revenues below that mark, broken down into the following four (4) revenue range categories:
· Up to $25 Million · $25.1 - $50.0 Million · $50.1 - $200.0 Million · $200.1 - $800.0 Million
Compensation data is reported in the following dimensions:
· Average · Median · 25th and 75th percentiles · Reported minimum and maximum
This survey also reports the prevalence of various programs and practices relative to executive compensation, covering annual incentives, long-term incentives, various perquisites, supplemental benefits, and agreements.
