DESCRIPTION:
Compensation Resources, Inc. (CRI) is pleased to provide the highlights of the results of our Insurance Industry Survey covering a broad range of compensation, succession planning, severance, and Board of Directors practices. The survey questionnaire was distributed to potential participants during September 2008, with data collected through November 2008.
The results are representative of the responding organizations within the Mutual Insurance companies (83% of respondents), reporting Net Written Premiums of less than $500 million (78% of respondents), thus representing a sample of companies within the smaller size ranges as compared to the general insurance industry. In light of this distinct survey sample, CRI evaluated published survey data within its extensive research library to provide additional data that survey participants may find valuable.
